Yet another successful Lunkers Ice Derby, with plenty of "chunky Lunkers" being caught.

The wind picked up, so it was a breezy one. Despite the conditions, we had a great time and once again we ended up with over 80 entries. Not too big or small, just the way we like it!

Action started right away with a good mix of Bass and Pickerel, although pickerel were more abundant. We measured several pickerel over 22". Slowed down a bit, but then the biggies came in! Fish were caught all over the lake, so there was not a "hot spot" , really.

Bass over 4lbs showed up at weight in , with 3 or 4 bass over 5lbs, and some fat pickerel over 22" on top of the board.

We started a JR class this time around. It was great to see some youngsters out there battling for a prize. Too bad some of the kids were not signed in...need to register to be eligible for prizes. So Dads, don't forget to register the kids next time!
