Chimney Sweeping

Fireplaces, Stoves , furnace flues...we sweep them all!

In order to maintain the chimney flue in good shape, while preventing dangerous and destructive chimney fires, NFPA211 (National Code) requires that the flue serving a (solid fuel) burning unit be cleaned yearly. This service alone can prevent thousands of chimney fires around the Country every year.

Chimney Crown repair, Caps and Dampers

The Crown or wash of  a chimney is subject to extreme exposure to the environment. This structure is responsible to keep water, debris and animals from penetrating t the chimney, which will cause the chimney to deteriorate and possibly causing damage to the house interior walls.  Most  serious and costly  chimney repairs can be avoided or delayed by simply repairing or protecting the crown.

Chimney flue Relining-lifetime warranty liners.

The section of your chimney where combustion gases actually travel  in and are expelled to the atmosphere is called the flue. Most  residential chimneys  in New England serve several systems. A chimney may feature two or three flues.  There may be a furnace flue, fireplace or a stove flue    It is  imperative that the flue lining serving these systems are sound and able to sustain the products of combustion. When the flue structure is no longer solid nor impermeable  ,  high temperature gases and ambers may seep through the flue walls and ignite nearby combustibles. Back draft problems may also occur, where  smoke and possibly carbon monoxide can enter your home leaving space.

Stove Venting- Chimney Construction

Every stove needs a venting system to function. Natural draft appliances, such as wood stoves,  must have an adequate chimney with an available flue . They may not share the same flue with other burners.

Chimney Crown Repair
There are approximately 40 million masonry chimneys in North America and the most common problem with these structures is water penetration.

Water causes over 1 billion dollars in damage annually because of deteriorating masonry.

Today the modern problem of acid rain accelerates deterioration in chimneys. All new & existing masonry chimneys are susceptible to water damage and even if repaired, chimneys will continue to deteriorate if they are not protected.

A properly installed Chimney cap will protect the crown and chimney flues, while keeping debris and animals from going in.

Many of them offer a lifetime warrnty.

We offer custom caps that will fit your chimney perfectly .

Our Chimney liners

Air and Water Tight

This seven ply seam locks moisture and flue gases in the chimney and keeps them from leaking into the home.
Guards Against Corrosion
Our certified stainless steel liners protect against hostile acids which deteriorate masonry chimneys.
What About Creosote?
Our liners do not allow creosote to leach though the liner, unlike masonry flues. This creosote can catch fire, and lead to a house fire. This harmful creosote is contained.
Protection from Chimney Fires
Our Liners are listed to contain chimney fires within the liner, which protects the home from house fires caused by severe chimney fires.
Seals Off Carbon Monoxide
Our Liners protect the structure of the home from moisture damage and the very real potential of carbon monoxide poisoning.
UL listed and Tested
Full UL tested and listed to UL 1777 standard by Underwriter Laboratories, the most recognized and respected testing facility in the world.
